Definition

Procedure text is text that contains steps to do something. The form can vary, such as food or drink recipes, how to make an object, etc.

Procedure Text Structure 

1. Goal/Aim: contains the intent and purpose of the related procedure text. 

2. Materials: contains the materials needed to perform the steps of a procedure text. In addition to the word materials, you can also use the word ingredients. 

3. Steps: a list of sequential steps to complete the procedure text stages. To indicate steps, generally use numbers or words such as, first, second, finally, etc 

4. Result: the result of the process or steps that have been carried out.
